You are the One
Yesterday night my family and I started watching this movie series called "That the World May Know." It's a video series about Israel. It's a
"guided tour" and you learn all about what happened where and where Jesus was exactly. It's amazing, it would be so cool to go there. There was one faith lesson the the tour guy was talking about. They were at the River Jordan, where the Israelites had to cross to get to Canaan. The priests holding the Ark where God dwelled in stepped in the water holding the ark, and the water broke apartso that all of Israel could cross over. The Canaanites thought they were save because of the river separating the Isralites and them. The point was though that the river Jordan has a current, and the priests had to have a lot of faith to step in there. All the way. Not just dip their foot in. They didn't know what God was going to do, but they stepped in, all the way. They had faith that God WAS going to do something, that He woud brake the waters apart. God is the master of everything. He was more powerful than the idols of those days, He was more powerful than the sea itself. At one point we need to make the decision whether we're going to let God be the ruler of our whole lives or if parts of it are just "off-limits" in our own minds. I think we have to make this decision continually, it's hard to do sometimes.

We have a future. We don't know what's going to happen in our lives, but we know God's on control. There's nothing in us that's beautiful or that attracts God to us. We are sinful totally depraved creatures, but still He died for US.

Crying about all the pain
Father I am so sorry,
I am the only one to blame.
This burden upon my back,
It's tearing me apart.
Jesus come into my life
Lord come in my heart
