the weekend. prepare for a boring post.
hey everyone! I haven't posted in....almost a week, that's pretty crazy. :P I probably won't be posting as much till the end of June though anyways, cause June is crazy busy with my graduation and Choral Connection concert, weddings and picnics. The main thing is my schoolwork though, I really need to start getting it done and finishing everything up. I think I have like, twenty more lessons in Math or so and two modules in science. But writing and Bible and Church History and French and and and Logic and Latin and all that stuff is kinda behind. :S It makes me kinda worried, so that's why I won't be posting as much.
Which reminds me. If any of you guys are available to come to either my grad or the Choral Connection concert, that's would be marvelous.
*Choral Connection* presents Vivaldi's Gloria and Handel's Zadok the Priest with orhcestral ensemble, also including: spiritual, jazz, and folk arrangements. Saturday, June 4, 2005 (this week!!), 7:30 PM. Centre St. Baptist Church (you can ask me for directions if you're coming)
Tickets in Advance: $13 adults, $5 for children (12 and under)
Tickets at the door: #15 and $7
So if you guys can come or want to come....let me know and I can reserve tickets for you and give you directions and stuff. :D It's going to be an amazing concert, and of course, there's always the Kelsey's afterwards. :P
ooh shoot, I have to go. I hardly blogged about meeting Entwife! Well, I did meet her, it was awesome seeing her in real life and actually seeing what she looked like and stuff. It was awesome Entwife....I hope I can meet you again sometime!

Happy Birthday Lysha. You're an awesome friend, mentor...person to talk to. You give answers that i need to here when things aren't going the best. I could go on and on, and this isn't very original either. but happy birthday. i love you. you're an amazing sock, my doorbell. :P God bless you lysha. He has a plan for you, a unique plan. And there are so many things in store for you, do it for the Lord. Go after God, whatever it takes, do it. Let Him grab a hold of your life, let Jesus be your hero. Only His opinion really matters. lylas
Cause He is the One
Who can fill the void inside
He is the One
Who will give eternal life
He is the one
Who will give undying love
He is the One
Who reigns from heaven above
He is the One.

You are the One
Yesterday night my family and I started watching this movie series called "That the World May Know." It's a video series about Israel. It's a
"guided tour" and you learn all about what happened where and where Jesus was exactly. It's amazing, it would be so cool to go there. There was one faith lesson the the tour guy was talking about. They were at the River Jordan, where the Israelites had to cross to get to Canaan. The priests holding the Ark where God dwelled in stepped in the water holding the ark, and the water broke apartso that all of Israel could cross over. The Canaanites thought they were save because of the river separating the Isralites and them. The point was though that the river Jordan has a current, and the priests had to have a lot of faith to step in there. All the way. Not just dip their foot in. They didn't know what God was going to do, but they stepped in, all the way. They had faith that God WAS going to do something, that He woud brake the waters apart. God is the master of everything. He was more powerful than the idols of those days, He was more powerful than the sea itself. At one point we need to make the decision whether we're going to let God be the ruler of our whole lives or if parts of it are just "off-limits" in our own minds. I think we have to make this decision continually, it's hard to do sometimes.
"Grace strikes us when we are in great pain and restlessness. It strikes us when we feel that our separation from God is deeper than usual." -Paul Tillioh
We have a future. We don't know what's going to happen in our lives, but we know God's on control. There's nothing in us that's beautiful or that attracts God to us. We are sinful totally depraved creatures, but still He died for US.
Just lookin' at my heart
Crying about all the pain
Father I am so sorry,
I am the only one to blame.
This burden upon my back,
It's tearing me apart.
Jesus come into my life
Lord come in my heart

Jesus, break these strongholds
Tear down the strings of sin
Release me from my pride
Rescue me from these games
Restore me from my hurt
Renew my heart again
Tear down this bondage
Destroy this burden, give me love
Give me peace.
My life, my love, wants
My needs, my passion, my strength
My faults, my sins, my friends
My foes, my family
My all....is now Yours.

{Raggedy Ann}
These hand me down I am wearing
Are worn at the knees and color faded, hey
And all the little children are laughing
I'm trying to find a reason to keep from crying, hey
Chorus:
I'm just a little girl, I'm raggedy ann
Making believe I'm happy, hey, raggedy ann
Falling apart at the seams
And tears that I have covered with patches
Of red and yellow patterns, nothing I own matches, hey
Where I have it sewn with black stiches
Remains exposed to be soiled and tattered, hey
Chorus:
I'm just a little girl, I'm raggedy ann
Making believe I'm happy, hey, raggedy ann
Falling apart at the seams
So when did I get so broken, I wouldn't notice
Everything just breaks away from me
Hey, when did I get so broken I wouldn't notice
Everything important leaving me
Falling apart at the seams
And all the busy people keep walking away
Like they can't see me or anything, hey
And every day it gets a little harder
To believe in magic and people, hey
I'm just a little girl, i'm raggedy ann
Make believe I'm happy, hey, raggedy ann
Falling apart at the seams
I feel the intense urge to hug someone and make them happy....I feel like forgetting everything thats happening and being reclusive in the hat of my sweater. i feel like crying, but i feel like being happy too. thank goodness for friends. they keep on making me happy and laughing when i really feel like crying. but sometimes....when you're laughing you feel like sobbing your heart out. sometimes things seem awful, you're life is just not going right, or the way you want it to go. everyone else's lives seem to be better than yours. your friends seem closer to God. they are closer with the people you want to be friends with. pride and jealousy start coming. and you wonder why your life can't be life theirs. but think. God has a plan for YOU. and it's not the same as someone else's plan. k, maybe i should go. buhbye.

Standing at a crossroad
Two paths to take
Expected to choose
The Path to my fate
If it's all the same to you world...
Neither is my choice.
It's always one right after another....
Crossing is annoyance.
Why not stand here
At the fork in the road,
And let my mind
Create the stories...
-Rachel Joy Scott
There are so many different paths you could take in this day and age. So many different ways you can choose to live your life. But when you think of it, it all comes down to if you're a Christian or not a Christian. That's whats going to make the real decision and difference in the long run. Even though I'm a Christian, and I believe in God and want to serve Him more and more, I've been tempted to follow the lives of non-Christians. Do what they do, it's a lot more fun what their doing anyways. You think it's not too bad, what their doing. Just go along with the crowd, no one will notice. But God does.
"I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Choose life...loving the Lord your God, obeying Him, and holding fast to Him; for that means life to you..." (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)
It's so hard though sometimes to choose the way of life. God's way. Be different then the people of this world. I don't always feel this...but sometimes I do. Who doesn't? How to be in the world but not of it....
God can't do anything in your life if your life is already crammed with other things. Some of that might be worldly things. Make lots of room in your life for God, and He'll bless you. You will go through hard times, every Christian does. The path of life isn't an easy one. But through God's grace and help in in our every day, we can do it through Him. And we will be rewarded on the last day. What an amazing truth. :D

I long to learn
I long to see
I long to hold
Dreams I believe
I long to laugh
I long to cry
I long to love
Wanna touch the sky
-Rachel Joy Scott
You know when thing gets confusing, you just don't know why life is happening the way it is. You just want everything to be normal and like you used to be....or at least you think you do. But who says what you're going through now isn't normal in the first place? normal...what a weird word.
Definition:
[n] something regarded as a normative example; "the convention of not naming the main character"; "violence is the rule not the exception"; "his formula for impressing visitors"
[adj] conforming with or constituting a norm or standard or level or type or social norm; not abnormal; "serve wine at normal room temperature"; "normal diplomatic relations"; "normal working hours"; "normal word order"; "normal curiosity"; "the normal course of events"
[adj] (psychology) being approximately average or within certain limits in e.g. intelligence and development; "a perfectly normal child"; "of normal intelligence"; "the most normal person I've ever met"
[adj] in accordance with scientific laws
[adj] (geometry) forming a right angle
But maybe what you're going through in the first place is actually normal. You're changing, new thoughts are occuring, new things are happening in your life. And everything seems confusing and totally NOT normal. BUt really it is. Well, that's what I feel like right now. I want me and my life to be just....normal I guess. It would be boring to be normal though. Not normal in that way I guess, but normal as in....normal thoguhts and feelings that you've always had before.
In the middle of all this, I started realizing that maybe there was something out there that could give me answers. And I found where that was. My Bible. Praying. Writing in my journal, prayers, poems, anything that helped me portray my feelings to God. I had never really experienced that or felt that before. I hadn't been reading my Bible regularly, I would always have unfocused, lousy prayers. Now I've been reading my Bible, praying a lot, about everything, not just thank you for this day, I want to go to sleep now kinda thing. And...it's comforting. Amazing. Rejuvenating. And I've found out a ton of new things. I'm reading 2 Corinthians right now, and I've found that marking verses that really stick out help.
Before I was jealous, I was imagining things and feelings and scenarios that weren't even true. I asumed things of people when I didn't even know them. I wasn't spending quality time with God....and I felt rejected, ugly, self conscious, and stupid inside. It's all fine and dandy to be happy and look like everythings all right on the outside, but really it wasn't on the inside.
I need to change a lot of things. I need to be more responsible, caring, understanding, loving. And I don't have an excuse like I'm just a teenager or I'll do it when I'm older. God wants a relationship now. He wants to know His children now. Not later.
What is life without the lifemaker?
As I was weeping and crying
I fell to my knee
I heard the Lord's voice
He was speaking to me
He said there would be
No more sins, no more lies
Only peace and happeiness
In all of my cries.

I have been tagged by....
Elainer....and Lysha, but Elai first.
Here's the scoop on how to play: I pick 5 occupations out of the list below and post my answers. Then I tag 3 other people to post their answers on their blog. If I tag you, and you don't want to be a part of this, then that is okay. Just let me know and I'll tag someone else.
The "questions":
If I could be a scientist...
If I could be a farmer...
If I could be a musician...
If I could be a doctor...
If I could be a painter...
If I could be a gardener...
If I could be a missionary...
If I could be a chef...
If I could be an architect...
If I could be a linguist...
If I could be a psychologist...
If I could be a librarian...
If I could be an athlete...
If I could be a lawyer...
If I could be an inn-keeper...
If I could be a professor...
If I could be a writer...
If I could be a llama-rider...
If I could be a bonnie pirate...
If I could be an astronaut...
If I could be a world famous blogger...
If I could be a justice on any one court in the world...
If I could be married to any current famous political figure...
If I could be a gardener....i would grow cucumbers or pumpkins or something. and i would watch them grow, and water them, and be known as the garden geek. i would sit on my chair and sing them songs and would cry when i had to take them away to sell them. because i would know that they would be ruthlessly taken away and smashed and crashed and bruised. and missing me. and missing their songs that i would have sang to them......*sigh* what a sad career. maybe i wouldn't do it like this after all......ehehehe.
If I could be a musician....i would finish studying piano with my piano teacher at the moment, learning all kinds of amazing songs. Doing music history and maybe some harmony if I felt like it. :P and learning about the composers and songs, and playing them. PLaying Bach and Brahms and Haydn and Copland and indulging myself. After that would be all done, I would get a scholarship *in my dreams* to go to somewhere in Russia and study with some famous musician there. Maybe not Russia, it could be anywhere of course, studying with a famous musician person. I would then go on tour and travel the world. Raising money for charities and stuff. then i would come back home to canada and teach out of my own studio and have many students who were serious about what they wanted to do....i would go to university somewhere for music too, and maybe get my Ph.D. *sigh* what wonderful dreams.....
If I could be a llaama-rider....i would train the little llama guy to do funny sounds and to spit....rofl. and then i would open a little ride place somewhere in the country, and get lots of donations from businesses and families and make it this spectacular place for llama rides. *evil grin* people would come from far and wide for the grand opening, and there would actually be lots of llamas....and everyone would take a ride and get spit on and be grosed out by funny sounds.....then i would retire because i made a lot of money at the grand opening and no one would come back anyways because it wouldn't have been an enjoyable experience. ok, this somehow isn't seeming to be a plan that works or that i would want to do. well, after i had retired i would go to egypt and travel the world with my favourite llama and be happy with my llama. THE END. forever. the end. and ever. this is strange.
If I could be an athlete....i would train for long hours and then would be invited to the olympics and then get famous and win the gold. and live happily ever after. and fit into really small cool clothes and be in shape till i'm really old. and be famous. ehehe.
If I could be an astronaut....i would design my own astronaut airplane thing. oh man, what are those called....ah, i can' believe i forgot. ppp, something with ppp i think. mm....oh, my sister just enlightened me. space shuttle. that's it. and i would pick my crew after we all trained for long hours to do this flight space thing....and then i would fly into the sky, space that is, and watch the planets and say hello the stars and get as close to the sun as i could possibly get without being burned and....just not watch it. my poor eyes, lol.
YAY, I am done. That was five. *wipes forehead* don't mind me....the above kinda didn't make sense at all PLUS was kinda strange.
I tag....

I tag....

BUM BUM BUM
Yes, I'm copying Becky. to use her words exactly, "Yeah...that doesnt mean like a bum...like a but. It mean like dun dun DUN! Yno the sound?? Well yeah the bums sound lower and....more dramatic." yup. That's it!
The big, huge, dramatic sounds are for my new template, which is...I dunno. You guys tell me what you think. I'm not sure if I like it yet :S But I do like the bottom. With the little coloured blue thing with my referring web pages and my tag-board. Do you guys think the blocks go together with the blue? like, is it the right kinda colour and style? hmm, I'm not sure yet. But I shall try it out for a little while and see....i just might go back to the old one. :D or maybe not, I don't know...i guess I do kinda like this one. BUt you guys have to tell me honestly what you think. :P
Right now I am happy. yes, hhhaaapppyyyyyy. I really don't know why, I really don't have any particular reason TO be happy, I just am. And I guess that's a good thing. At 7:00 this morning there was actually a person on MSN. Who gets up that early? Other than me. :P
Oh, and I'll make sure to do that tagged thingy soon people....probably tonight. :D But right now I have to go and get to a boring day of schoolwork....voice lessons in the afternoon too, and we have to do a performance tonight that I really don't want to do and don't feel like doing, but....i won't be selfish. I'll just, do it I guess. lol. This didn't make ANY sense, but oh well.
I'll talk to you all later! :D

-Falling-
It seems like
Out of no where
I am coming apart
Nothing, could have saved me
You went straight for my heart
Chorus:
When I've almost had enough
Something about you draws me back again
When I've almost given up
Something about you pulls me in
And we're falling
It feels like
I am reaching
Trying to hold on to you
And I know that
There's still hope here
And I know you'll come through
Chorus:
When I've almost had enough
Something about you draws me back again
When I've almost given up
Something about you pulls me in
And we're falling
When I've almost had enough
When I've almost given up
We start falling
And we're falling
Some more lovely lyrics...and don't ask about the picture. lol. I really hzve no clue why I'm posting it and I also don't have a clue why it goes or doesn't go with the lyrics. Maybe the reaching part in the lyrics or something. And the hand is reaching....ehehe. I think it's actually Summer's hand...it's a picture from my birthday party. Yea, I think it is your hand sumsum, because remember you were like, "OOH, the grass is so beautiful, I want to take a picture of it." And then you put your hand in it. lol, i don't know. but it's a nice picture of your hand. ehehe.
I am so DEAD tired....exhausted is better word. I was going to put that as my Unky Mood but of course they didn't have an exhausted mood. I have a whole ton of request moods that i sent in, but they haven't made any of them yet. *sigh* not a sigh that they haven't made them yet. I'm sighing because i'm tired. yup.
well, i would post longer, but i'm really tired and i must go. to bed. but i realy want something to eat badly and i'm parched...i should request that Unky Mood too. But I'm sure they wouldn't make it, just like they didn't make my other ones. *dramatically rolls eyes* oh well. Unky Moods is still cool.
well, buhbye you wonderful people. have a nice night and sleep and everything! :D:D:D:D
(btw, those smileys took every last little bit of energy out of me. :P lol)

{-Fighting For It All-}
Mindy Smith
You can try to keep me down
You can try to keep me under
But you'll never get my will
You'll never get my will to fight
'Cause I was born at the bottom
Of this mountain I am scaling
And I'll probably climb it
Climb it till the day I die
Chorus 1:
All the things I know I need
It just keeps me going
All the thing I've never had
It just keeps me wanting it more
And fighting for it all
I know I'm not that pretty
I'm only average smart
With an overwhelming, uncanny need
Just a need to survive
Honey you can dig a grave
Six feet down
But you'll have to take me out
Because you know I won't be going alive
Chorus 2:
And all the things I know I need
It just keeps me searching
All the thing I've never had
It just keeps me wanting it more
Fighting for it all
And I've never had a hero
Never met a saint
And there's nothing on this earth
I can take with me anyway
Repeat Chorus 1
So, you can try to keep me down
You can try to keep me under
But you'll never get my will
You'll never get my will to fight
Today...was Sunday. At church this morning I was in the babysit, always fun. Most of the kids are kinda spoiled though :S so most of them were whiney. Plus the usual like "No, don't take that toy, she had it first." "BE CAREFUL, don't climb over top of her and hurt her." "Get back down you little buddy, you're going to make your little friend cry." "BLAH, I have to change her again..." AH, the joys.
One thing that made me really happy today was that I went to Cho's house. *coughcough* we had lots of fun sitting at the table and talking while she drew something for her tech homework. mmhmm. and talking upstairs about how we wanted this shirt from this place and these shorts from that place...i love shopping. except...i'm not loaded. :P that's a problem, ehehe. slightly. but it's still fun going to malls and looking at all the thing you COULD buy. *sigh* actually, never mind, I guess that's kinda depressing.
yes, and we also had fun laughing our heads off over some stupid thing. we were baking the last two breaded chicken breast things that we found in her freezer, and making french fries cause we were hungry, and then her foot was on the counter and almost in the little baker oven and we were laughing cause we were mkaing up this name for...rofl, i won't say. ehehe. and we were also laughing at the little tropicana song i was singing. you know the part that goes "with the straw int he orange it will set your spirits free." at least that's how i think it goes. so i was singing that and we were laughing hysterically. i really, come to think of it, dunno why.
ok, who doesn't love the little commercial with the oranges at the fair, and then the tropicanna orange comes along and makes the red go all the way to the top of that thing, and then they all go crazy. mm, i love orange juice. especially with gingerale mixed in with it...then it tastes like punch. i just had some of that today, in case you were wondering.
you guys aren't wondering. *gasp* so why am I ranting on about stupid orange juice and commercials on TV, ok, i'm stopping now.
and....i'm going now too. because i want to call andrea tonight and plus i have to go to bed too. *sigh* tomorrow's going to be busy...and i have to do a ton of schoolwork tomorrow too. so...i gtg.
ok BYE!
